Golden Lane Leisure Centre is based at Fann St, Fane Lane, Golden Lane Estate, London EC1Y 0SH, 0.2 miles from Barbican Station and is a multi-sport community sports centre.

There are steps or a pedestrian ramp to access to the leisure centre, with level access once inside.
The centre can be difficult to find, it’s in the middle of the Golden Lane estate. Here’s a video showing the entrance and facilities.
We have dedicated use of the 20m pool, where you will be supported by our team of friendly, enthusiastic and trained volunteers, providing a safe, private environment to swim in.
Access to the pool is via a ladder or chair hoist.
The swimming pool is 0.9m in the shallow end and can be adjusted at the deep end. It is an infinity pool which means is is possible to access via the pool side. Otherwise, there is a hoist and 4 steep steps.
The water temperature is around 28 °C.
There is a small viewing gallery alongside the swimming pool.
There are men's and women's communal changing rooms, which have individual cubicles within them. There is also a separate disabled changing room with shower.
The lockers at Golden Lane require a padlock.
There is no dedicated car park at the centre.
The weekly session will be held on Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 7.30pm. After your swim there will be an opportunity to chat to other swimmers and volunteers over some biscuits in the swimming pool reception.
We ask swimmers for a £2 contribution per session to help support the on-going operation of the club. If you have worries about being able to pay this on a regular basis please talk to tash@weswim.club.
The sessions and community at WeSwim Barbican are led by our fabulous committee. They work with a local team of friendly, enthusiastic and trained volunteers who support our swimmers in the water. The club team also act as our safeguarding officers.
